Chemmozhi Tamizh Valarchi Kazhagam

Chemmozhi Tamizh Valarchi Kazhagam was founded with the purpose of protecting, promoting, and spreading the greatness of Tamil, one of the world's oldest classical languages.

The organisation is committed to creating awareness about the richness of Tamil language, literature, culture, arts, history, and research. It supports scholars, writers, students, teachers, Tamil researchers, artists, and institutions working for Tamil development.

The Kazhagam also aims to connect with Tamil organisations across India and abroad to support global Tamil growth through events, publications, research initiatives, awards, and cultural programmes.

Dr. Sa. Kalaipunithan is the founder and president of the Kazhagam. He is also an advocate of the Madras High Court and a world record holder in Tamil education and literature.

Chemmozhi Tamizh Valarchi Kazhagam is open to serving people without discrimination based on age, gender, religion, caste, or colour.

The Kazhagam may establish branches in different parts of the country for carrying out Tamil development activities.
