Student Awards
Students who secure top marks in Tamil in SSLC and Higher Secondary examinations are recognised and encouraged. The Kazhagam also aims to honour college students who study through Tamil medium and achieve academic excellence.
Tamil Semmal Award
The Kazhagam plans to honour individuals who have contributed significantly to Iyal, Isai, and Nadagam — Tamil literature, music, and theatre — with the Tamil Semmal Award.
Lifetime Achievement Award
Individuals who have dedicated their life to Tamil, achieved rare accomplishments, served society, or contributed to social reform may be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Literary Recognition
Excellent Tamil books and authors are planned to be recognised every year, supporting writers and taking valuable Tamil literary creations to a wider audience.
